My husband and I sent my recently-widowed mother "Daisies and Sunbeams" to welcome her to her new independent living apartment. She loves the arrangement, and placed it where she can see it from almost anywhere in the apartment. She was thrilled when the "beautiful flowers!" arrived!

I had ordered flowers, for our niece who just lost her best friend, from what I thought was a local florist Saturday. The confirmation email said they’d be delivered that day and I would get notification. A text message indicated they were out for delivery but the recipient hadn’t received them. No notification of delivery Saturday evening or Sunday morning. I called Sunday afternoon and a guy said there was a glitch in the system and the flowers would be delivered Monday. Ok, no problem. I called what I thought was the shop to verify delivery that day. A guy told me there was a flower shortage and it could possibly be Tuesday. I cancelled the order and found The Ivy Cottage which is local. I placed my order Monday evening, received a call late Tuesday morning from a delivery man to confirm someone would be home to accept the delivery! The flowers were absolutely beautiful. The Ivy Cottage has a customer for life.

I normally order from a big online florist and this year I decided to try a local instead. I’ve heard many great things about Ivy Cottage and they definitely lived up to that. The order process was easy and the flowers were delivered perfectly. I will definitely be using them for all my floral needs.
